The Scholarship Essays are tenable up to 3 years for PhD (via route MPhil) [subject to satisfactory progress] and open to international applicants only. UK / EU applicants are not eligible to register. Scholarships will provide £ 15,000 towards the cost of international tuition for 3 years. This Scholarship Essays is an opportunity to complete a PhD in Child Computer Interaction Group (ChiCI group) at the University of Central Lancashire. Child Computer Interaction is a field in the Human Computer Interaction (HCI), and Group ChiCI at UCLan is an international leader in the design and evaluation of children's technology.
This is an opportunity to work full time PhD in a group of dynamic and innovative research. This Scholarship Essays project aims to determine whether older children to evaluate educational technology that is designed for young children if given the right tools. It is broken down into 3 research questions:
-To what extent can older children evaluate technology education for young children?
-What methods are suitable for use?
- What construction can be evaluated by the children?
